Aurora Aksnes is born June 15, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 and was praised by journalists as well as from the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band to promote John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of her most renowned covers.
